Daniel Relyea is an Associate at Ike Kligerman Barkley, joining the firm in 2003. Previously, he gained experience on a wide range of institutional projects, from constructing new student centers to renovating historical theater facades. He has found his niche in residential architecture, creating structures of comfort for the senses and spirit. Daniel initially studied civil engineering at George Washington University before switching to architecture, later matriculating at Boston Architectural College. Daniel’s designs value an overall structural balance, and pay special attention to lasting material integrity, from hand-hewn timber frames to meticulously cut stone. He is an avid explorer of New York City and its boroughs, including its ever-renewing culinary landscape.
